To learn Reiki is to re-awaken spiritually and to embark on a voyage of self-discovery and healing.

At the Richard Ellis School of Reiki we bring over 30 years of dedicated experience to your training. You can find us in the peaceful surroundings of The Retreat New Forest, a holistic well-being centre in the heart of Hampshire. Richard is a founding member of The Retreat New Forest and, after years of international travel and teaching, is now firmly rooted here.

 I have completed my Reiki 1, 2, Master and Master Teacher training with Richard and not only does he have a wealth of knowledge, but his delivery is exceptional. My journey with Richard has resulted in significant life changing decisions that have transformed me as person.

The Reiki healing method originates in Japan and is a form of hands on healing that works holistically to bring mind body and spirit into alignment.

First Level Reiki

Reiki Level One

The first level initiates your ability to channel Reiki through a series of blessings given by the Teacher. These initiations serve to open up the student to the flow of universal life force energy and form a connection to the Reiki lineage. The level one course introduces both theory and practical elements. Taught over two full days, we explore the philosophy, history, principles and meditations of the practice and then go on to learn how to give ourselves and others Reiki treatments.

The goal of Level One Reiki is to give you a direct relationship with the principles and essence of the Reiki practice. When nurtured and developed, it becomes a part of your daily life.

Second Level Reiki

Reiki Practitioner Training

The second level of Reiki is also known as Reiki Practitioner Training.
On this course you are introduced to the three Reiki two symbols. Each of the symbols has a specific function that allows a more active involvement in the practice of giving Reiki and helps in the understanding of personal growth and development.

Taught over two full days, we explore the history and philosophy of the symbols and why they are included in the system of Reiki. We introduce the concept and methods to achieve distant healing and offer additional practices to give you the tools and confidence you need to set up your professional Reiki practice.

Third Level Reiki A

Reiki Master Practitioner

The third level of Reiki is also known as Reiki Master Practitioner Training.

Level 3 deepens our understanding of the symbology given in Level 2 and further enhances our Reiki practice by offering us new tools and methods. On this course, you are introduced to the Reiki master symbol, taught its uses and understand its inclusion into the system of Reiki. Level 3 offers an understanding into the symbiotic relationship between all the symbols and introduces methods to bless objects, people and places. We explore body posture and learn to observe where potential unwinding and release can take place. Taught over two full days, this course gives you an in-depth understanding and the tools to work with clients.

Third Level Reiki B

Master Teacher Training

Level three B of Reiki is also known as Reiki Master Teacher Training. Level thee B offers a framework to assist people that is, in my opinion, unrivalled. Whether you wish to develop your existing complementary healing practice or simply be able to initiate friends and family into the Reiki practice, there is something for everyone. What differentiates Reiki from many other healing modalities, is it is passed like a gift between master and student. Reiki itself is seen as the active initiator and like a candle is dormant without a flame, so too a master cannot initiate a student without first having been blessed with the Reiki phenomena themselves.

This four day course will immerse you into the system of Reiki, take you through all aspects of the practice and give you an understanding of the key elements required to teach and share the system. Once the course is completed, you will have the tools available to teach Reiki yourself and the knowledge of how to structure your business to give yourself every chance to succeed.
